What You Get with Personal Online Run Coaching
How Online Run Coaching Works
Coaching on Your Terms
Personal Online Run Coaching is a month-to-month service with no long-term contract. You can cancel at any time without a penalty.
You can also pause your training and billing when illness or a life event makes consistent training unrealistic. When you are ready to return, your coaching can resume without treating the interruption as a failure.
This flexibility allows your coaching relationship to support real life, not just the original calendar.
Personal Online Run Coaching Pricing
Personal Online Run Coaching costs $129.99 per month.
Billing is handled monthly through Final Surge. Your service includes a customized training plan, ongoing workout analysis and feedback, unlimited messaging, and up to two 30-minute Zoom, phone, or local in-person consultations per month.
Getting Started
1. Sign up through Final Surge
The Start Personal Online Run Coaching button takes you to Coach Andrew’s page on Final Surge, the platform where your training will live. You’ll create a Final Surge account — or sign in if you already have one — and complete checkout there.
2. Complete your onboarding form
You’ll fill in a short form covering your running background, current training, weekly schedule, goals, and any races you already have in mind.
3. Meet with Coach Andrew
Before building anything, Coach Andrew meets with you one on one to get to know you and understand what you’re working toward — the things a form can’t capture.
4. Receive your first four-week block
Your first training plan is built from that conversation and delivered in Final Surge. From there, the cycle above takes over.
Not ready to sign up? Send Coach Andrew a message — he’s glad to answer questions before you commit to anything.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. I coach you from where you are now, regardless of the pace you run or the distance you are preparing to complete.
You do not need a certain race time or level of experience to benefit from coaching. If you are preparing for your first 5K or simply want to become more consistent, I will build your training around your current ability and the goals that matter to you.
Coaching is month to month, with no contract or required plan length. You can continue for as long as the service supports your training, and you can cancel at any time without a penalty.
I build your personalized training plan in four-week blocks. That gives us enough structure to make steady progress without locking you into months of training that may no longer fit your schedule or needs.
Personal Online Run Coaching costs $129.99 per month. I provide the service month to month, with billing processed through Final Surge.
There is no long-term contract or cancellation penalty. You are paying for personalized planning, ongoing feedback, unlimited messaging, and up to two 30-minute consultations each month—not just a calendar of workouts.
I deliver your customized training plan through Final Surge in four-week blocks. You can use the platform to view workouts, record your training, communicate with me, and read my feedback.
Final Surge can also sync with your watch, Strava, and other devices. That keeps your workouts and GPS data together and gives me a clearer picture of how your training is going.
Yes. I can put both your training and your billing on hold if illness or a life event prevents you from following the plan.
Life does not always cooperate with a training calendar, and taking a pause does not mean you have failed. When you are ready, we will pick things back up based on where you actually are—not where the old calendar said you should be.
You can message me without a set limit through Final Surge and schedule up to two 30-minute Zoom or phone calls each month. If you are local to Modesto, those consultations can take place in person.
Messaging works well for questions that come up during the week, while calls give us time to talk through your training, races, goals, or concerns in more detail. You do not have to save every question for a scheduled check-in.
My responsibilities are to build and adjust your training plan, review your runs and GPS data, provide feedback, and help you make informed training decisions. I also guide you through pacing, warm-ups, cool-downs, cross-training, strength work, goal setting, race selection, and race-calendar planning.
I use the training you log and the information you share to guide the process. When something changes or a workout does not go as expected, my role is to help you understand what it means and decide how the plan should respond.
Your responsibilities are to complete and log your training as consistently as your circumstances allow, communicate honestly, and tell me when something affects the plan. I need accurate feedback about your workouts, recovery, schedule changes, illness, and life events to coach you effectively.
You should also ask questions when instructions are unclear or when a workout does not feel the way you expected. You do not need to report that every run went perfectly. Honest communication gives me the information I need to make your training more useful.
Working with me gives you a personalized plan, ongoing feedback, and direct support without requiring you to live near your coach. Your training can adjust as your fitness, schedule, and circumstances change.
I review your completed runs and GPS data, answer your questions, and help you understand how each workout connects to your larger goal. You still complete your training where and when it works for you, but you do not have to make every training decision alone.
